This is a very smooth dark Pu-Erh and my favourite. Pu-Erh is known as a digestive tea and the Chinese people drink this after a heavy meal, especially if there are oils invoved in cooking.
This first class Pu-Erh originates from the Chinese province of Yunnan. It has been produced there for 1700 years. The tea goes through a special maturation process, in which it gets its redish colour and it strong earthy taste. An exquisite quality. Pu-Erhs have less caffeine than regular black teas. I can drink them in the evening without suffering caffeine symptoms.
