Juicy and tart blend of healthy and cleansing cranberry fruit tea. The antibacterial properties of cranberries deliver additional benefits to this delicious and refreshing tea. In this fruit melange sweet apple bits complemented by the acidity of hibiscus are perfectly combined with the trendy cranberry taste. Also great iced.

Fruit Tea (Tisane)

The English word "tisane" originated from the Greek word πτισάνη (ptisanē), a drink made from pearl barley. Technically, the name 'Fruit tea' is incorrect because they are not made with real tea (Camellia sinensis), but by infusing fruit pieces and other plants.

Fruit teas are made with mostly real fruit and sometimes with the addition of dried flowers, leaves, seeds and roots. These fruit blends (tisanes) are then infused (steeped) by pouring boiling water over them, covering them to keep the heat in and letting them steep for 10 minutes. The fruit tea (tisane) is then strained, sweetened if so desired, and served.
